Phil Giordano is an Italian-American film and commercial director originally from New York that has lived in Southeast Asia for the last seven years. He received his MFA from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Immediately after graduating, he accepted a contract to work as a director at one of the top production companies in Singapore. While there, they were nominated for Production Agency of the Year.
Phil has created commercials for KFC, Universal Music, Porsche, Dolce & Gabbana and Johnson & Johnson. He has worked with such agencies as Ogilvy & Mather, Dentsu, DDB, Facebook Creative Shop, and Iris. His commercials have gathered millions of views online.
Phil is the recipient of the prestigious 2017 Hollywood Foreign Press Association Award. His short film SUPOT had its World Premiere at the 21st Busan International Film Festival and went on to screen at several Oscar-Qualifying film festivals all over the world. Phil is currently in pre-production on his first feature film 'AYA' which was a finalist at the 2018 Sundance Lab.
